Wave Box

A Dovetailed Oak and Walnut box as designed by Waters and Acland. Made fully by hand with dovetailed corners and a mitred oak liner this box is perfect for small stationary, pictures and many other items. It has a hand-carved walnut lid, created with dual inspiration of waves breaking onto remote island reefs as well as the grain on the board I picked out which decided ultimately where and how I would carve the waves, breaking around the bird/seal/dinosaur looking 'reef'.
